How does this affect me?

IT Technicians discovered slow network speeds via wired and wireless services at OSU-Stillwater. Technicians are working with vendors to resolve the issue.

Resolution - Dec 4th 4:39 pm

Technicians have completed tests on the low bandwidth on the OSU Wired and Wireless networks and determined these services have been restored to full functionality as of 10:45 PM Monday, 11/27. IT technicians will continue to monitor these services to ensure availability.

Update - Dec 4th 4:33 pm

Technicians are still performing tests on the low bandwidth on the OSU Wired and Wireless networks. Users may experience slow network performance while these issues are being addressed.

Update - Dec 4th 4:32 pm

Technicians are setting up the infrastructure to do further testing on the low bandwidth on the OSU Wired and Wireless networks. Users may experience slow network performance while these issues are being addressed.

Update - Nov 10th 5:11 pm

Wireless issues have been resolved. IT technicians are continuing to closely monitor these services to confirm they have been restored to full functionality and ensure availability. Technicians are still monitoring the wired connections for slower than normal speeds.

Update - Dec 4th 4:32 pm

IT Technicians have implemented a fix to some wireless network equipment to resolve the issue. Users may experience reduced or interrupted services while the fix is applied. Technicians will continue to monitor these services.

At 5:15 PM on 11/01 IT Technicians will be implementing a fix to some wireless network equipment to resolve the issue. Users may experience reduced or interrupted services while the fix is applied. Technicians will continue to monitor these services.

Update - Dec 4th 4:31 pm

IT technicians are continuing to closely monitor these services to confirm they have been restored to full functionality and ensure availability.

Update - Dec 4th 4:30 pm

At 7:00 PM on 10/27 IT Technicians will be rebooting some network equipment to attempt to resolve the issue. Users may experience reduced or interrupted services while the equipment reboots. After the reboot Technicians will continue to monitor these services.
