How does this affect me?

Users may experience intermittent connectivity errors in the Banner production (PROD) environment. This affects Banner applications as well as user-submitted and scheduled batch processes. Users may receive an error similar to the following: ORA-12547 TNS lost contact

These services have been restored to full functionality. IT technicians will continue to monitor these services to ensure availability.
