All services using electrical power, this may include but not be limited to telecommunications equipment, PC network connectivity (wired, wireless, local, and internet), VoIP phones, and Fire Alarm services.

How does this affect me?

Due to a power surge at the following buildings:
Transportation Services Facility (Bldg. 0085)
Brumley Apartments (Bldgs. 0120-0125)
Physical Sciences (Bldg. 0051)
David L Boren Veterinary Medicine Teaching Hospital (Bldg. 0107)
Equine Sports Medicine Lab (Bldg. 0108)
Equine Examination Arena (Bldg 0198)
McElroy Hall (Bldg. 0039)
Headhouse and Five Greenhouses (Bldg. 0061)
Controlled Environmental Research Lab (Bldg. 0062)
Nobel Research Center (Bldg. 0069)
Peterson-Friend Hall (Bldg. 0257)
Colvin Center Annex (Bldg. 0109)
Village Suites B,C,E,F (Bldgs. 126-129)
that began at 6 Am, a network outage occurred. During this downtime period, any services requiring A/C electricity to operate will experience loss of service. This includes but is not limited to telecommunications equipment, PC network connectivity (wired, wireless, local, and internet), VoIP phones, and Fire Alarm services.

Resolution - Jun 12th 11:02 am

These services have been restored to full functionality. IT technicians will continue to monitor these services to ensure availability.

Update - Jun 12th 9:20 am

At this time, most of the buildings in the outage are back up. IT Technicians are aware of the issue and are continuing work to resolve the problem.
