How does this affect me?

Due to a power surge on campus a network outage occurred. During this downtime period, any services requiring A/C electricity to operate will experience loss of service. This includes but is not limited to telecommunications equipment, PC network connectivity (wired, wireless, local, and internet), VoIP phones, and Fire Alarm services.

Resolution - Jul 14th 8:05 am

These services have been restored to full functionality. IT technicians will continue to monitor these services to ensure availability.

Update - Jul 13th 5:06 pm

Brumley Apartments - Unit D3 (Bldg. 122) continues to be affected by the power outage. IT Technicians are aware of the issue and will work to resolve the problem when power is restored.

Update - Jul 13th 3:03 pm

Power has been restored to most locations. Locations still affected include Brumley Apartments - Unit D3 (Bldg. 122).

Update - Jul 13th 11:08 am

The affected buildings include: McElroy Hall (Bldg. 39), Robert M. Kerr Food & Ag Products Center (Bldg. 47), Controlled Environment Research Lab (Bldg. 62), Transportation Services Facility (Bldg. 85), Vet Med Teaching Hospital (Bldg. 107), Colvin Center Annex (Bldg. 109), Oklahoma Animal Disease Diagnostic Lab (Bldg. 110), Brumley Apartments (Bldg. 120-125), Information Technology (Bldg. 134), Equine Examination Arena (Bldg. 198), Vet Med Maintenance Facility (Bldg. 202), and Peterson-Friend Hall (Bldg. 257).
