Your personal profile is the main page you see when you login to O-Key Account Services. It contains personal identity information that you specified during your O-Key Account activation. Down the left side of the page is a menu bar with links that will allow you to change your O-Key Account information at any time.
Name: Displays your legal name.
Preferred First Name: If you go by a name other than your legal first name, you can enter it in O-Key Account Services by clicking on the 'Preferred First Name' link in the Main Menu. Entering a preferred first name will modify the way your name is displayed in the Outlook address book, and will also generate another option for your e-mail address.
Professional Last Name: If you go by a name other than your legal last name, you can request to have your professional last name set by contacting the Identity Management through OSU Information Technology Helpdesk. It will change the display name on the Online Directory and Outlook Global Address List.
O-Key Account Username: Your O-Key Account Services username is automatically assigned to you when you activate your O-Key Account.
CWID: This is a legacy Campus Wide ID. In most cases it is the same as your Banner ID without the leading letter A.
Banner ID: This is your Banner ID assigned by the system. You need this at various occasions such as paying your Bursar Bills and registering courses at the Registrar's Office.
SCT OPID: This is an Operator ID used in the legacy aPrint system that is assigned to some employees. If you have access to any of the legacy ePrint repositories, you will need this information when logging in.
Department Code: The 6 letters department code (the organizational code) you are primarily affiliated as an employee.
Privacy Flag: A student has directed the university to withhold directory information.
Login Address: This is the O-Key Account login address you selected during your O-Key Account activation. To change your login address, click on the 'Change Login Address' link in the Main Menu, and choose a login address of your preference from the options available. If you are not satisfied with the login address choices available to you, contact the OSU Information Technology Helpdesk at 405-744-HELP (4357) for assistance.
Email Destination: Your email address that will receive all of the official communications from the university.
Alternate Email: The alternate email address that will be used to receive a forgot password token. This email address is the one that you received your eligible to activate email notification.
Cowboy Mail Web Access or Orange Mail Web Access: The web URL that you can use to access your Cowboy Mail or Orange Mail account.
Phone Password: Your Phone Password will be requested by various departments (IT Helpdesk, Registrar, etc.) to help verify your identity over the phone when discussing private information regarding your account. When selecting a Phone Password, it is important to select a short code or word that you will be able to recall easily and known only to you. Your Phone Password must be between 4 and 25 characters long. It can contain any combination of letters, numbers, or spaces. Your Phone Password must not contain your Login address, Banner ID, social security number, phone number, name or username. Special characters are not permitted. Please protect your Phone Password as if it were your credit card number. Should you wish to change your Phone Password in the future, simply log into your O-Key Account and select 'Change Phone Password' from the left hand menu.
Account Status: The status of your account activation is displayed at the bottom of your Personal Profile. Remember that it may take several minutes (from 5 to 30 minutes or more) before your O-Key Account is completely created, or before changes to your account are processed.
