Windows 7 End of Life

Announcement - 04/07/2022

Microsoft has announced the retirement of support for the Windows 7 operating system (OS). The retirement began on January 14th, 2020, and will end January 10th, 2023.

How are you affected on Jan 10, 2023?
- Windows 7 Operating systems will no longer receive security updates from Microsoft.
- Windows 7 Operating systems and your data are at increased risk of vulnerabilities.
- Windows 7 Operating systems may still work with existing programs and hardware but may not perform as expected if programs or hardware are updated.
- As required by security policies, Windows 7 devices will be removed from the Domain.

What should I do?
- Upgrade Windows 7 Operating systems to latest version of Windows 10 or Windows 11.
- You may request an exception to having the device removed from the domain.
