Email Spam Filtering
Announcement - 05/13/2022
On May 23, 2022, IT will be enabling an additional layer of spam filtering for Cowboy Mail. Additional filtering will allow more protection against suspicious, fraudulent, and spam email. Any additional email caught by filtering will be delivered to the recipients' Junk Mail folder.
How are you affected on May 23rd, 2022?
- This filtering will be applied to all received email.
- All items filtered from your inbox will be sent to your Junk Mail folder.
What should I do?
- No action is required as the filters will automatically run on any email received.
- You may review your Junk Folder when searching for expected email received.
- You may right click on mail in the Junk folder to identify the item as 'Not Junk'.
- Instructions may be found in the FAQ section of the Email Service Page.
