Virtual Labs upgrade

SCHEDULED DOWNTIME DETAILS:

IT technicians will be upgrading the virtual labs during this downtime period and result in the service variations listed below:

- Individuals using the web version of virtual labs (VMWare Horizon HTML Access) when the upgrade begins will be disconnected.
- Users connected through the Horizon View client software on their desktop will remain connected.
- Users connected through a terminal will remain connected.
- Users attempting to connect during the upgrade using any method will be unable to do so.

Those connected during the upgrade may find the service intermittent and possible reduction of system performance while resources are taken offline for servicing.

Any interruption in service is only expected to last for a few minutes at a time.

Virtual Desktop Terminal locations on the OSU Stillwater campus that run the include:
Bennett Hall
Griffith Community Center
Kerr Drummond Mezzanine (1st Floor)
University Commons North
University Commons South
University Commons West

All Virtual Desktop Terminals are located in common areas of these buildings.

NOTES FOR TECHNICIANS:
Interruptions of service are expected to last only for a few minutes at a time.
