How does this affect me?

DUO is currently reporting that logins to Outlook 365 creating a new authentication attempt are failing. The vendor is aware of the issue and is working towards a fix.

Resolution - Mar 15th, 5:21 pm

Microsoft has completed work on the issue. These services have been restored to full functionality as of 5:05 PM. IT technicians will continue to monitor these services to ensure availability.

Update - Mar 15th, 4:52 pm

Office 365 and Cowboymail services are not available due to a recent update from Microsoft causing issues with DUO authentication. This includes the creation of new mailboxes, setting up features of new accounts, and using Microsoft teams. IT technicians are currently working with the vendor to resolve the problem. Per Microsoft: Users maybe unable to access multiple Microsoft 365, Azure, and Dynamics 365 Services, including Service Health Dashboard. Any service that leverages Azure Active Directory (AAD) may be affected. This includes but is not limited to Microsoft Teams, Forms, Exchange online, Intune, and Yammer. Microsoft is currently working to mitigate the issue.
