How does this affect me?

Users connecting to https://desktop.okstate.edu from off-campus, or without VPN, may receive an error "VDPCONNECT_GATEWAY_ERROR: The connection to the remote computer encountered a gateway error. This could be because the agent is not reachable from the gateway or the protocol service port is blocked by a firewall. If the issue persists, please contact your system administrator." when accessing the Virtual Labs environment. If you are receiving this error, please connect to the OSUVPN and reconnect to the service.

Resolution - Apr 15th, 3:15 pm

Services have been restored as of 2:30 PM. Users may connect without the need for OSUVPN. If there are further issues, please contact the IT Helpdesk.
