How does this affect me?

Due to a power surge at the Willard Sparks Beef Research Center (Bldg. 0684) that began at 12:20 AM, a network outage occurred. During this downtime period, any services requiring A/C electricity to operate may experience loss of service. This includes but is not limited to telecommunications equipment, PC network connectivity (wired, wireless, local, and internet), VoIP phones, and Fire Alarm services. Technicians are working to restore these services.

These services have been restored to full functionality. IT technicians will continue to monitor these services to ensure availability.

IT Technicians are aware of the issue and are continuing work to resolve the problem.
