How does this affect me?

Due to a power surge at the (Bldg. 0195) that began at [outage start time], a network outage occurred. During this downtime period, any services requiring A/C electricity to operate will experience loss of service. This includes but is not limited to telecommunications equipment, PC network connectivity (wired, wireless, local, and internet), VoIP phones, and Fire Alarm services.
IT technicians are aware of the issue and are currently working to restore services.

These services have been restored to full functionality. IT technicians will continue to monitor these services to ensure availability.
